YOU'VE FOUND OUR COMPLETE GUIDE TO
MICRODOSING

MICRODOSING
WHAT IS IT?
Microdosing is the intentional practice of consuming very small, sub-perceptual amounts of psychedelic substances—most commonly psilocybin— as part of a regular regimen in order to support mental health, boost creativity, and enhance emotional well-being without inducing a full psychedelic experience.
This guide will help you approach it safely, responsibly, and intentionally.
WHY DO IT?
HOW TO START:
Microdosing typically involves taking about 1/10 to 1/20 of a full psychedelic dose. With psilocybin mushrooms, that’s usually between 0.05 to 0.3 grams of dried material. At these levels, you won’t experience hallucinations or “tripping.” Instead, most users report subtle, yet noticeable shifts—improved mood, greater focus, reduced anxiety, and a deeper sense of connection to self and surroundings.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but here are three of the most popular methods:
The Fadiman Protocol
(Developed by psychologist James Fadiman)
-
Dose every third day (1 day on, 2 days off)
-
Continue for 4–8 weeks, then take a break
-
A week of this protocol may look like this:

The Stamets Stack
(Created by mycologist Paul Stamets)
-
Combines psilocybin, lion’s mane mushroom, and niacin. This formula is similar to some of our own micro blends, which also add some additional adaptogens to the mix.
-
Dose 4–5 days on, 3 days off (typically in cycles of 4–6 weeks)
-
A week of this protocol may look like this:

Intuitive Microdosing
-
Listening to your body and adjusting as needed
-
Focus on intention-setting and journaling
-
Used more as a self-guided spiritual tool than a fixed regime
A FEW PRO TIPS
-
Start Low & Go Slow
Everyone reacts differently. Begin with 0.05–0.1g and track how you feel. -
Keep a Journal
Log your dose, mood, sleep, and insights. Reflection amplifies results. -
Set Clear Intentions
Whether it’s to heal, grow, create, or just be more present—clarity fuels impact. -
Create a Supportive Environment
Eat well, hydrate, rest, and integrate through movement, breathwork, or meditation. -
Avoid Mixing with SSRIs or Alcohol
Psychedelics may interact with certain medications. Always consult a medical professional.
Final Thoughts
Microdosing is not a magic fix—but it can be a powerful companion on your path to balance and self-awareness. Like yoga or meditation, it’s most effective when approached as a practice, not a quick solution. Respect the medicine, listen to your body, and go slow.
